The Happiest Place on Ice....oops - we mean The Happiest Place on Earth!
Congrats to all the skirts that braved the icy temps in Orlando and finished the Disney Half Marathon, 5k, Marathon and Goofy Challenge. We tip our mouse ears to ya all! Whew! was it ever cccccold!
We've been looking forward to this trip all year and planned to bring along our families as a bit of a mid-winter holiday getaway. It's the perfect scenario, Christy & I working the skirt booth while the running skirt hubbies & kiddies enjoy the Disney Parks. Little did we know we would be flying them straight into one of Florida's rare cold snaps....sans coats. That's right - not a lot of warm & fuzzy sub zero clothing needed here in San Diego. Our kids were virtually popscicles in the parks....but they were the happiest popscicle kids we've ever seen visiting Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, etc. We had to admire the resourcefulness of Christy's daughter "marathon madison" who took her mom literally when she advised her to "wear everything that you have" when asked how to dress for the chilly temps. We were doubled over with laughter that evening at the dinner table when she demonstrated her 9 layers (tee shirts) that she had on. She literally put on everything in her suitcase. :0)
We had a great time at the Disney Events....the expo was awesome, deals galore! It was so much fun chatting with all the runners and meeting more of our loyal running skirt customers. Congrats to all you expecting runners who stopped by to scoop up our new fit momma maternity running skirts and the new maternity long sleeve tech top. Congrats on your healthy pregnancies!
